Building face lifting in China

In China buildings get old fast.
This is a major issue for commerce: Chinese customers care the outside appearance of one shop a lot. Chinese customers will look at the façade a lot. When they see that a shop, a restaurant, a commerce is located in a rusty building they wouldn't like to go shopping there.
This is exceptially true for more high market commerce: big restaurants, brand clothes, jewelry.
Façade is all about the shop image!

Still renting in a modern building is expensive!
Renting in a brand new building can be twice or three time as expensive as renting in a old building!

The parade is to conceal the old building façade. This is what I call face lifting.
