Dehang Miao village Hunan Province

Dehang is a Miao village south of Hunan Province.

A local salesman counts his money.
Money is not dirty in China.

Sweet potatoes and warm leaves.

Small river crabs, fish and insect chopsticks.

We had to sing a local song in order to get inside the village.

Local girls.

The village is surrounded by mountains.
There used to be the sea here. The mountains look like the cliffs in France in Britain...

In fact these dried branches are used to make basketts!

This is how farmers keep dried herbs in the countryside!

Countryside toilets!

The poo is used to water the vegetable.
